Latin 101 is a foundational course using the Cambridge Latin Course (CLC) to introduce students to Latin grammar, vocabulary, and Roman culture. Taught by instructors with 5+ years of Latin experience and numerous NLE gold medals, this course fosters both academic excellence and a love of the ancient world.
Along with our classes, students are expected to complete around 1.5 hours of homework every week. Language learning requires repetition! Every week also includes a free, optional 1 hour Office Hours session.
Covering the first 6 stages of CLC Book 1, Latin 101 sets students up to continue their Latin studies in Latin 102, after which students will be adequately prepared to take the National Latin Exam at the Beginning Level.
Asynchronous option: If your student cannot make the time slot, they can still enroll and participate asynchronously (recordings + materials provided). Pricing will be adjusted—see the Google Form for details.
Payment will only need to be made after the 2nd class.
